On Saturday, February 22nd, the EMS Squad took part in a presentation for a local group of High School and Middle School students at the Hicksville Public Library. The group was Care4Connect, Care4Connect is dedicated to enhancing health literacy among younger students in Hicksville. EMS Squad Captain Gerry Gagliano, FF/EMT Krista Meyer,s and EMT Yeni Jakobsen provided information on the EMS role within the Department, went over some Fire Safety topics, discussed the Department’s Juniors program, and gave a tour of ambulance 9349.
